I am an Emmy Award-winning journalist and visual artist. My work focuses on - but is not limited to - amplifying the richness and complexities within communities of color while deconstructing a monolith heavily reinforced through media. I use portraiture and other avenues to dive into a reservoir of emotions: from raw vulnerability to wry humor. From unspeakable strength to bountiful pride. My photographic process places value on sophistication through simplicity. I believe nothing true can be built on a lie, so I place an emphasis on the authenticity of subjects and accentuate them with the use of minimalist settings.

I recently exhibited at Hot Bed Philly's SUMMERHOUSE exhibition (June 19 - August 21, 2021) and was previously featured at “In the Commons,” a group show by Philadelphia Photo Arts Center at Cherry Street Pier in Philadelphia (April 2 - May 2, 2021). Some of my solo exhibits include Unharnessed (Philly Art Collective, April 2019), Life in Progress (World Wide Mind Gallery, Los Angeles 2014), Cinematic Streets (Andre Allen Studio, Miami Beach, 2013) and Portraits of Wisdom (Greater Hartford Arts Council, Hartford, CT 2012).

When I am not shooting, I step in front of the camera as the Sports Director and lead Sports Anchor at CBS 3 Philadelphia. Before that, I helped launch Fox Sports 1 and anchored SportsCenter and other shows on ESPN’s family of networks. I have covered everything from the Super Bowl and World Series to Triple Crown horse racing. I earned two undergraduate degrees from Boston University and a Masters from the Northwestern Medill School of Journalism.

I have been covering sports for more than a decade while shooting photography for two. I invite you to run the bases with me and enjoy the journey -- one hit at a time.

Carpe Diem!
